Terms of service
These terms govern WealthAge: the websites at wealthagescore.com and app.wealthagescore.com and every product surface they serve.
You are agreeing to a personal finance app, not an advisor.
The short version, in plain words: the WealthAge Resilience Score is informational and yours, not advice. You pay us; we never sell your financial data. You can export your data any day, including the day you decide to leave. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The full terms below are the binding version.
The plain-language privacy posture is at /privacy.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using WealthAge you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service. If you create an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract.
2. What WealthAge is
WealthAge is a personal finance app. It brings your accounts, transactions, spending, cash flow, net worth and recurring charges into one place, and computes the WealthAge Resilience Score™, a personal 0–1000 measure of how prepared your current financial picture is for a financial shock. The score, and everything else the service shows you, is informational. It describes your financial position; it does not prescribe what to do about it.
3. Not financial advice
WealthAge is not a financial advisor, financial planner, broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, credit counselor, or tax or legal professional, and nothing in the service is a substitute for one. Nothing WealthAge shows you, including the score, its reason codes, and any figure, chart, or explanation, constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. The WealthAge Resilience Score is informational and yours: not a credit score, consumer report, lending or eligibility input, investment recommendation, or guarantee. Before making significant financial decisions, consult a qualified professional who can consider your full circumstances.
4. Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in method secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Provide only information about your own finances, or finances you are authorized to share. If you connect financial accounts, you authorize WealthAge and its regulated aggregation providers to retrieve your account data on your behalf, read-only. WealthAge does not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy or availability of data supplied by third parties, including banks and aggregators; if synced data looks wrong, check it against the institution's own records before acting on it.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel. Current prices are published on the pricing page and shown before you pay. You can cancel from the app at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access through the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled under the refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase, as published on the pricing page, and as applicable law requires. If prices change, the new price applies from your next renewal, with notice before you are charged.
6. Your data: ownership and export
Your financial data is yours. You can export it any day, including the day you decide to leave. You grant WealthAge the license needed to operate the service for you: to store, process, and display your data, and to compute your score from it. You pay us; we never sell your financial data. WealthAge may use aggregated, de-identified data that cannot identify you to build and improve the service.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully; probe, disrupt, or overload it; attempt to access another person's account or data; scrape or resell the service or the score; reverse engineer the scoring machinery; misrepresent the score as a credit score or use it as a lending or eligibility input; or upload anything malicious. WealthAge may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Intellectual property
WealthAge owns the service: the software, the scoring engine, the WealthAge and WealthAge Resilience Score names and marks, and all content the service generates other than your data. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service, not any ownership in it. If you send feedback, WealthAge may use it without obligation to you.
9. No warranty: the service is provided as is
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. WealthAge does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that synced data from third parties will be accurate, complete, or timely. Where the law does not allow these exclusions, they apply to the extent it does.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: WealthAge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the results of financial decisions you make; and WealthAge's total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is capped at the greater of the fees you paid WealthAge in the twelve months before the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold WealthAge harmless from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
You can stop using WealthAge and close your account at any time; export your data first, any day you choose. WealthAge may suspend or terminate access, with notice where practicable, for violation of these terms, to comply with law, or to protect the service and its users. Sections that by their nature survive termination, including sections 8 through 14, survive it.
13. Dispute resolution and class-action waiver
Most concerns can be settled directly: write to [email protected] and WealthAge will work with you in good faith for 30 days before either side escalates. After that, you and WealthAge agree to resolve disputes arising from these terms or the service through binding individual arbitration under the consumer rules of a national arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse. Claims proceed individually: neither side may participate in a class, collective, or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration section entirely by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of first accepting these terms, and opting out has no effect on the rest of your rights under these terms.
14. Governing law
Governing law: [STATE] (counsel to confirm). These terms are governed by the law of that state, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought in its courts.
15. Changes to these terms
WealthAge may update these terms as the service changes. When the changes are material, notice appears on this page and, for account holders, by email before they take effect. Changes are not retroactive. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and export your data.
16. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and WealthAge about the service. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
